Late-night shopping

The first evening

Until now the evening here was simply the day, only later. This Thursday that changes: the evening gets a menu of its own.

Hohenems stays open late — and so do we. We are here from 9 as always, for coffee, breakfast and lunch. From 17:00 we switch over: small plates to share, and the first glass of Passing Clouds.

A few of our own products are already in the café that evening — to look at and to take home, five days before the shop opens.

We are not telling you what goes on the plates yet. The menu lands shortly beforehand — and on Instagram first.

New — every Friday

Small plates on Friday evenings

And then every week after that. On Friday evenings we serve small plates to share — different every week, depending on what is good right now and what we feel like cooking.

A different menu every week. Come by and see what is there.

Here too we keep the plates back. The menu comes shortly beforehand — and on Instagram first.

Muri — Passing Clouds

Copenhagen · non-alcoholic, under 0.5 % ABV

Not a de-alcoholised wine. Passing Clouds is built from the ground up: fermented gooseberries, quince kefir, jasmine tea and a kvass of woodruff and geranium, made in short ferments and then blended like a cuvée. Dry, floral, with an acidity that wakes you up.

Behind it are two people from the Copenhagen kitchen scene — one of them out of Noma’s fermentation lab. In 2025 Muri received the very first prize ever given for non-alcoholic wine at the Feinschmecker awards in Hamburg — in the fiftieth year of those awards.

We pour it because it is made the way we work here: pickling, steeping, waiting. It is really the drink that belongs to our pantry.

New — our shop

Bardeli To Go

From Tuesday 15 September you can take home what you eat here. On the shelf: our infused oils. In the counter: focaccia, salads, cakes, spices, pickles and chia pudding in a jar — and more.

Why now? Because we have waited long enough — and so have you. We start with what is ready and build the range up week by week.
